Aaron Ralston is my new hero! Danny Boyle’s portrayal of his story in 127 HOURS is nothing short of masterful.  From the opening shots of humanity, (including the wry insertion of the sanguine, self flagellative PAMPLONA), to the frenetic energy of Ralston; and then myopically zero’ing in on the minutia of the predicament – Boyle expertly engages the audience for 93 unrelenting, tense minutes!  James Franco better pick out his tuxedo! Plus scribe Beaufoy’s comedic treatment of the self announcer along with Danny’s signature microscopic lenses make this one of the coolest movies of the last decade!
